-the world as I see it
I LOVE nature.
I study buildings – I am interested in architecture, sustainable construction, seismic design, restoration and preservation of historic structures.
Music – I cannot do without it. I have the harmonizing disease.
Every time I enter a book store or a library, I feel like I am transported into an altogether different world, one that I find hard to come out of. Diamonds are not a girl’s best friend, books are 🙂
I believe that everyone is born equal, period.
In my opinion, money spent on learning and travel is never a waste, it is an investment, and these are probably the two best investments you can make in your life.
A quote on my favourite T-shirt would read – sunshine, friends and laughter make life beautiful.
So, what is my blog about?
This blog mainly contains posts about the different places I’ve been to (describing what I liked/ did not like about them and also mentioning any of the non-touristy things I managed to do).
Through some of my posts I share some tidbits on architecture and civil engineering.
I also pen down some of the funny incidents in my life but avoid the sad ones because I don’t want to remember them. Then there are those times when I get contemplative and introspective and address issues that deeply concern me.
I must warn you about the times when I can’t suppress the rhymer within me and I dabble in poetry.
Sometimes, I just let my photographs do all the talking.
Hello and welcome to my blog 🙂
